getting banned from Twitter.

Truly, I am. I say that with some hesitation, because (as odd as it sounds), there are several dozen people on there who I came to care very deeply for, and I still do.

So, no offense at all my friends. I do miss you. But, getting off Twitter was long overdue, and one of the best things that could have happened at this point in history. Indeed, I could simply engage a VPN to get back on. But I will not, unless there is a compelling reason to do so.

In the meantime, here is a sample of the things I’ve done or helped do since I was banned off of Twitter.

Last year, I was on Twitter and wasn’t thankful for a damned thing. I also didn’t know how to do most of these things. I didn’t have the time …

I haven’t changed any of the opinions that I’ve shared with you guys. But I have changed my opinion on … the need for us laypeople to be sharing our opinions.

The echo chamber is part of the trap, and smart phones ended the world.

Good came of it. Perhaps good will come from it again (2024?).

But, for now, I’m thankful for tangible living, and being relatively ignorant on details that no longer matter.

Stay salty, friends, and God bless you and yours.

  1. You are missed, but clearly living the good life now. Also shot my 1st deer the other day with a bow. Let us know if you’re ever in KS.

    1. Awesome! I went out turkey hunting 3 times in the spring – only saw hens. Went out bow hunting for deer twice and with my .306 twice, and only saw a doe that was far too young.

      Dry year so far.

I think a lot of people are hunting …

  2. Wow. You’ve really been productive, a real ball of fire so to speak. 🙂 … And every single one of your projects shows beautiful workmanship.
It looks like you’re happy Michael. I’m glad. It doesn’t lessen the fact that you’re greatly missed, but I’m glad .. And I wish you no less than I hope for myself. Again, Happy Thanksgiving. God Bless.
