  2. Unless a person restricts who can see their TL, everything is viewable in a regular browser—searching within Twitter too. The only thing you can’t do, obviously, is post/like/retweet. Most of my Twitter reading is done not logged in.

Agreed, but it makes it more difficult to vacuum up as much data as they do with the app. Also, a VPN with a few privacy oriented extensions on a browser (or a TOR browser) go a long way at preventing them from tying multiple accounts to one person. That said, the Wild West internet has been replaced with the all seeing eye. For instance (from a familiar state):

  3. Wow! They are really after you! You made “something” mad. I’ve gotten on by searching Twitter search in my browser, look for something and then I am in.
