The US military proudly mounts camcorders from the 1980s to its $100,000,000 jets.

Nevertheless, the Sony BMC-220s have shown surprising resilience, and their autofocus was clearly ahead of their time.

You can see for yourself in the “alien” videos the pentagon has been releasing. They’re not grainy and out of focus at all, for the early 80s.

Did you know that, according to Aquinas (and Augustine), “space” is the “darksome atmosphere” above the “firmament?”

Did you know that Aquinas says that, the fact that the firmament exists, and that it separates us from actual physical water, is a matter of dogma that we aren’t free to deny?

In fairness, he did make allowance for debate on whether “the waters above” differ materially from “the waters below,” but not for denying the material water itself. We’re not free to do so.

But, here’s the most interesting part: did you know that Aquinas (and Augustine) say that most demons and fallen angels aren’t actually in hell? They’re not. They’re in …

the “darksome atmosphere” above the firmament.

Don’t get mad at me, NASA/Paperclip fans … I’m just quoting Aquinas.

Screenshots for the doubters, below.

Long story short, if there are “aliens” showing themselves, they’re just fallen angels who know they have a deadline. I would expect that they would be working with the governments – especially the US government.

  1. There is a lot of talk of this on Twitter but has the Church ever said whether the Earth is definitively Flat or not? I understand there is a firmament but it doesn’t make much sense if the earth isn’t flat. Sr Lucia talks about how Our Lady ascended towards the firmament at Fatima.

    1. The Church has never said anything about the shape of the planet, to my knowledge. I’m comfortable with geocentrism and the firmament, but I avoid the flat earth debate. It’s fruitless and not necessary for salvation. No offense intended.

  2. I refer to the Summa often on this very issue though I don’t understand it completely. I have a few acquaintances, Protestant, who are looking to the sky, excited at the possibility of an ‘alien encounter’, sure that ‘they’ are for the “good of mankind”. I’ve tried to warn them to be careful what they wish for .. to no avail in most cases. They are ripe for the delusion. It’s frustrating and it’s beyond sad. Excellent article. Thank you.

  3. TPTB and their alliance with “space” has been interesting to watch. All things are leading to Christ’s return. May we all receive His mercy.

  4. Anyone who is familiar with the Saint Michael prayer will know that the evil spirits “prowl the earth seeking the ruin of souls. “ If the evil spirits are roaming the earth, how can they be roaming the earth seeking the ruin of souls?

  5. Since the waters above can differ materially than the waters below, couldn’t the waters above be plasma, and therefore not only support the dogma but also the electric model of the universe rather than the standard/gravitational model? If so, wouldn’t that be further example of faith and true science in concert just as noted in CCC 159?

    1. I don’t see why not. The only hesitation I have with the notion of it being *that* materially different is that we know the Lord opened the firmament to flood the earth with water in the days of Noah, with the great deluge. He also opened up the earth springs, but we get the impression that most of the flooding came from above the firmament.

      1. Well, plasma is a type of fluid by currently accepted definitions, so… 😏

I am by far neither an expert on all the particulars of the related Catholic dogma, nor current science, and would always yield to orthodox Catholic teachings on the matter. That said, given that at one time in our history there were races of giants roaming the earth as well as people living for hundreds of years before they died, I figured we can expand on what we typically take as normal parameters in our present time. Relatedly, I heard someone mention once that the Biblical Jacob’s Ladder could have possibly been a Birkeland current reaching to the heavens (actually to a particular endpoint location). Again, while that is scientifically possible, I would yield to any Church teachings that would quash that notion.

I may have posted this group on Twitter previously, but the group working under the SAFIRE Project (SAFIREProject.com) seem to be really dialed into the electric model of the Universe. I don’t think any are practicing Catholics (don’t know), but if what they are working to empirically prove to be true yields affirmative findings (which looks very promising), Catholics could use that to support what critics/Doubting Thomases otherwise take in the Holy Bible to be fairy tales.

Now my brain is starting to hurt.

  6. Hello Michael,
Thank you for the tutorial. I always like it when you post something like this.
I have not read through the Summa (as perhaps I should?). Your posting gives me a bite-sized “push back”. Thank you 😊
I had heard of Project Blue Beam where there are supposed to be aerial projections simulating an alien invasion. Protestants and others who believe in the possibility of aliens will be highly vulnerable to this type of deception.
Being able to present reasons why there are no aliens will be very important in preventing deception.
    Thank you again.

    1. I haven’t “read through” the Summa, either. But, I’ve probably read all of it :).

What I do is go to it anytime I need an authoritative explanation, or if I have a question. Then, I read the whole part, so that I’m not quoting him unfairly.

If you do it that way (using it as a “reference +”), you’ll be well versed in Aquinas pretty quickly.

  7. Hi Michael,

This is intriguing. I agree: there are no aliens. It helps very much to know one’s catechism in that God created angels and men. If a so-called “alien” is not created by humans through special effects, it must be an angel, whether good or bad.

All the more reason to pray the rosary every day!
