I’ve always thought Daniel 8:25 was super interesting: “According to his will, and craft shall be successful in his hand: and his heart shall be puffed up, and in the abundance of all things he shall kill many: and he shall rise up against the prince of princes, and shall be broken without hand.” That’s the Douay-Rheims translation, which is a little tough to understand. For instance, what does “in the abundance of all things he shall kill many” mean? The King James version says “and by peace shall destroy many.” Other versions say “he shall destroy many in a time of peace.” I think it may be a some sort of combination of the two.

Is this “the” (false) “Peace” Plan that we’ve been waiting thousands of years to see? I don’t know. If it is … the ramifications of that are dire. I’m fairly confident of one thing, however: they’re going to need a war to sell it.
